For more than eight years, Tracy Roberts has served as the Director of Marketing & Communications at Bass, Berry & Sims. Within this capacity, Tracy works to ensure all marketing initiatives align with the firm’s business development strategies and the overarching strategic objectives of the firm. As the leader of the marketing & communications team, Tracy provides oversight and direction related to reputation management and firm positioning strategies, public relations and other external communications, and the overall brand of the firm.
Tracy brings to her role a wealth of experience, boasting a professional journey spanning more than 20 years. Her expertise is notably diverse, with a focus on marketing and business development. Prior to her tenure at Bass, Berry & Sims, Tracy spent a substantial period of her career at a renowned Nashville-based public company. During this time, she undertook pivotal responsibilities, including spearheading the establishment of rigorous marketing processes, advanced analytics and lead generation strategies. Her efforts were instrumental in assembling a proficient team that played a crucial role in supporting the company’s rapid growth.
Tracy has been a member of the Legal Marketing Association since 2015. Having access to this network has been immensely helpful in connecting with peers at other firms and staying on top of industry trends and new innovative strategies to advance marketing and business development initiatives.
When not working, Tracy enjoys spending time with her husband (Chad) and their two dogs, Gibson (lab mix) and Miles (Corgi), and their three kitties, Leo, Meeko and Poe. She also spends lots of time vacuuming!
