John Reed is the founder of Rain BDM, a consultancy that helps lawyers build
outstanding client relationships. He and his team train provide law firms with needed marketing services and support, from one-time projects to outsource marketing department engagements.
A former practicing lawyer, John knows the challenges confronting the profession and the changing legal landscape. Differentiation and standing out in the marketplace have never been more important. John coaches attorneys in business development and assists firms with branding and positioning, content writing, blog and social media management, strategic planning, corporate social responsibility initiatives, and other marketing needs.
John is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the chair of the Legal Marketing Association’s Michigan chapter, a certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® practitioner, and a member of the board of trustees for Leader Dogs for the Blind.
