Born in Iowa and raised in Dunn, North Carolina, Jennifer “Jen” Bordeaux has called Raleigh, North Carolina home since 2013. She received her bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University in 2007, earned a master’s degree from East Carolina University in 2012, and a NC State Bar paralegal certificate from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill in 2014. With a professional background ranging from the NC Division of Juvenile Justice, teaching at East Carolina University, assisting clients as a family law paralegal, and now in the legal marketing industry, Jen has always been a strong advocate for information, communication, and comprehension being the foundation of healthy and productive relationships.
Jen currently serves as the Director of Public Relations at New Direction Family Law where she channels her passion for communication and education into managing the potential and current client experience. Whether she’s building communication strategies, engrossed in analyzing data and tracking marketing efforts and trends, serving as show producer for the Ex-It Strategy Podcast, planning a firm event, or extending the firm’s philanthropic outreach, Jen thrives on collaborating with the New Direction Family Law legal teams and being a conduit of connection between the firm and the community.
In her free time, Jen tries to live life to the fullest! She enjoys being a “dog mom” to her two pups, Chance and Theo, traveling, listening to live music and spending quality time with her family and friends. Carpe Diem!
