Clinton is the founder of CREDO, a consulting firm specializing in guiding law firms and their professionals to incorporate Smart Collaboration and Disciplined Growth for greater value to clients, professionals, and firm.

Clinton is an Accredited Partner with Gardner & Co (founded by Dr. Heidi K Gardner) and certified on the methodologies in her best-selling books “Smart Collaboration: How Professionals and Their Firms Succeed by Breaking Down Silos” and “Smarter Collaboration.”

With Gardner & Co, Clinton has participated in client engagements for law and accounting firms in the US, Canada, Mexico, and UK relating to Smarter Collaboration assessments and strategy development, practice team formation and planning, industry and key client programs, firmwide marketing and business development planning/budgeting/operations, and professional coaching.

Prior to founding CREDO, Clinton served as Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer for three prominent AmLaw law firms (Kilpatrick Townsend, Burr Forman, and Arnall Golden Gregory), as well as a “Big 5” global accounting and consulting firm (Arthur Andersen) and an employment training firm.

His accomplishments include nationally ranked and recognized programs for marketing and business development team leadership and process improvement, industry and key client initiatives, business development training and coaching programs, firmwide marketing planning and budgeting, knowledge-sharing/experience management strategies and technology implementations, thought leadership development, and M&A.

His teams and firms have been awarded “Best Law Firm Marketing” by The American Lawyer, “Best Law Firm Rebrand” by the Legal Marketing Association, and the exclusive Midsize “Hot List” designation for best law firm strategy by The National Law Journal.

Clinton has served on executive, operating, talent, and alliance committees and has trained and coached hundreds of professionals.

Clinton is a frequent speaker at law firm retreats, law firm alliances, and national conferences, such as LMA, ALA, COLPM, Meritas, Terralex, etc., as well as a content contributor to more than 40 articles and case studies. He is a leader in the Legal Marketing Association, currently serving on the National Talent Development Committee.

He is a native of New Orleans, a graduate of The University of Alabama, and lives in Atlanta with his wife, four kids, and a basset hound named “Gumbo.”
