In your nomination, please tell us about your Local Steering Committee and how it has encouraged its members to get involved; provided creative programming; increased membership; and increased sponsor recruitment. What are the categories for submissions and what types of projects fall into those categories?
Advertising: Sub-categories: Single ad (print, billboard, radio, TV, or online); Campaign (minimum of three different ads or one ad promoted through various media channels)
Community Relations: Charitable and community service programs and pro bono projects aligned with strategic marketing initiatives.
Events: Open houses, networking events, event invitations and educational webinars or seminars.
Identity: Trademarks, logos, identity and style guides, integrated branding programs, promotional giveaways, tradeshow booths, etc.
Marketing on a Shoestring: Programs conceived of and executed exclusively with in-house resources, or with outside expenses of less than $500 (including both in-house staff and outside vendor costs).
Media Relations Campaign: Press releases, news conferences and other non-paid media coverage, as well as media training.
Business Development: Attorney coaching, business development training programs, business plans, sales and networking techniques, including cross-selling initiatives, and competitive intelligence.
Business of Law: Firm and practice strategy and planning, including market research analysis and studies, profitability and pricing, talent management, and knowledge management tools/projects.
Client Services: Internal and external client communications and feedback, project management, process improvement, and industry and client team management.
Promotional and Collateral Materials: Newsletter or Alert (internal or external); Holiday Card
Social/Interactive Media: Mobile applications, QR codes, RSS feeds, social media programs (using web-based interactive and social networking tools such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
Websites: Refresh, rebrand or total overhaul.
What timeframe is eligible for submission?
Any work produced to promote or market the services of a law firm between September 2016 and August 2017 is eligible to enter.
Who can enter?
Either a law firm or a service provider may submit entries. However, consultants and vendors must provide written approval from the law firm on firm letterhead.
How much does it cost to enter?
Cost is $80 per entry.
I have so many great projects to choose from; can I submit them all?
If you submit multiple entries, you receive a 10 percent discount! Please note that you must pay by check to receive the discount. Please submit a separate entry for each project.
How can I pay?

What is the deadline?
Deadline for entries is 6:00 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, August 10, 2017.
How will I know if I won?
Winners will be recognized at the LMASE Regional Conference Your Honor Awards Presentation on Thursday, September 14.
What if I really want to send in a hard copy to enhance my submission?
Please don’t! Sending in hard copies will automatically disqualify your submission.
